In 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 1 lipedema. Lipedema is considered a chronic, incurable condition. In 2017, I experienced a flare-up, and my body began to ache, and I felt like everything in my body was spiraling out of control. Neither exercise nor a healthy, vegan diet, etc., had any effect on my well-being. As a "solution," I opted for the first surgery on the front of my legs, from my ankles to my groin.
