After my accident with a horse that attacked me, I suffered a traumatic brain injury with a skull base fracture.

With her distinctive style and ability to get to the heart of the matter, Julia showed me where the levers needed to be applied. The decision to go to Julia in Berlin marked the turning point in my life. Her words still resonate within me today; I can consciously feel what resonates within me, and I'm continually amazed at how I've changed. Movement, color, emotion, and perception entered my frozen, shadowy existence. Sometimes with a roar and racket, sometimes gently and quietly – over the years.

I have taken many steps since then, I have stumbled, I have panted, I have climbed up a slope only to discover with horror that the descent is terrible, but I have also skipped through the forest singing and dancing.

I stopped functioning and started living. The ball that Julia set rolling is going through many stages; my life is in motion. I have found my place in my life. This means to me:

– Security (I know where I belong)

– Strength (I have my point of view)

– Flexibility (viewing situations from multiple perspectives

– Ability to act (I can do, I can leave, I can be)

I'm doing well and I'm looking forward to the next steps on my journey.
